Think-Trust

Think-Trust has now established links with the ETICA project. ETICA (Ethical Issues of Emerging ICT Applications) is a European research project funded under the ‘European Commission Science in Society’ programme. The main aims of the project are:

* To identify Information and Communication Technologies that are likely to materialise in the medium-term future (10 to 15 years);

* To investigate ethical issues that are likely to arise as a result of future technologies; and,

* To provide policy recommendations for governance arrangements suitable to address such ethical issues.

Think-Trust’s findings on future research challenges for establishing a trustworthy information society will be of particular interest to the ETICA project.
